Convicted Drug Felons

Here is a Thought: For all of our concerned parents and community leaders.

Push our elected officials to enact legislation to mirror the Sex Offender Act in regards to our local drug dealers.
Sex offenders violate our children and loved ones, so do drug dealers!
They entice our children to try illegal and sometimes legal perscription drugs creating a lifestyle that affects the entire family and community.
Drugs are the root evil for most crimes, ie...Armed Robberies, Burglaries,Larcenies and so on.
Our children becomes victims of this evil enterprise and then themselves becomes offenders of other crimes. They are the ones that do the larcenies, they steal from the friends and loved ones to support their addictions.

We as Parents need to stand up to these Drug Dealers and let them know we know who you are and you will not live in our community selling our children drugs.
If you do move into our neighborhood, you are identifiable by pictures and your criminal history in regards to your drug dealing just as sex offenders are.

I doubt there is a single family in Hardeeville that hasn't been affected by drugs in some form or fasion.
It's easy to teach our children to say no to drugs, but it's not to drugs they are talking to it's the dealers. I know for a fact that some if not all dealers will give and even front people drugs just to get them hooked. Once hooked the dealers know they will be back for more and more and more.

Once they get into that lifestyle of being an addict it's difficult to get them back, they become lost in a world of lies and deciet. They become peolpe we no longer know or trust.
If there are other parents out there that feel the same as I do please voice your feelings on here and to your elected officials and push them to write a bill that will help protect our children.

Convicted Drugs Felons

Way to go!!! I love this idea.We have the right to know where the drug dealers are and whom is living in our neighborhood.I would like to know how many people are for this.Blog your comment and lets get this made a law sooner rather than later.

It's an idea..

But we have to think these type of people will really care if it is posted? Their freinds and neighbors are most like aware of what they are doing and many are profiting from it.. So it would almost be like a phone book... "I want a little pot, lets pull the list and see who I can get it from...." That is not a good thing.
